20160409 journal

Journal 20169409 Attended devyn and kambrias wedding and sealing yesterday at the LA temple. It was a nice reminder of our commitments and blessings as well. it has been a very busy last couple of weeks. School finished Thursday night, im glad this semester is over i like using math but it actually is not my strong suit especially some parts of differential equations. we've been trying to go hiking on some of the evenings, as Jens job has slowed her walking has too. I'm Trying to finish our taxes. We made a lot last year, and besides getting almost completely out of debt, Don t have a lot to show for it. That is a major accomplishment for us though. It took a year, from when Jen took pathway last year and went through the math class, and part of the class was budgeting and goal planjing. We read Dave ramses total money makover, which was great for jen. So long story short 20 years of debt was gone over the last year. Now we need to maintain as our income.is dropping a bit, and our spending habits have laxed a little. Devyn and Kam were Sealed in the same room as us. Rich and arlene were able to make it. When we went out back, it was rainy, and we had forgotten our umbrellas. The temple had a few that we borrowed. They still got all.of their wedding shots , piscetello was the photographer. I thought devyn would want some photos with us but didn't request it. I picked up the food at reds and brought it up to the sinaloa bldg were there was a family lunch. We covered half of it, as Kam had given jen the money for it, we figured the grooms side was supposed to cover thefood. The reception was going to be in the Fortunas backyard, so treble and I went down to help them put up some tarps over the backyard. Dan had bought some 30x60 tarps and we spent about two hours putting them up. The reception went well, and the guests were dry. Kam had asked of I could take some of the video of special moments etc. which I did, hopefully they turned out well. Almost done with my taxes aughhhh.
