20160123 pathway

20160121 My phone applications were not working well this morning. That should have been my first clue that I should be meditating instead of trying to play a game on the phone. Did I listen? Obviously no. I'm a slow learner apparently. Half way through my walk I gave up and pulled the battery out of the phone and continued on the walk, somewhat annoyed that it wasn't working, and also relieved that I didn't have to be a slave to a game, and also also glad to enjoy the silence in my mind. My thoughts and prayers have been focused on improvement, and taking time to actually put effort into the improvement is another thing entirely. I will need to train myself and continue in the up and down path of inner peace. 20160120 It has not been easy. I planned on spending more time in meditation and pondering, and found that as I tried to take time out from all of the tons that I need to do through out the day, and all of the other things pressing on my mind that keep creeping in to crowd my thoughts- these things kept me from being able to allow my mind to be clear and still. As I walked on my break and tried to allow myselfto be unburdened it doesn't work as well as it had in the past. Tomorrow will be better. The presented study skill this week was chiasmus, which is a figure of speech in which related terms are repeated in reverse order making the largest larger point in the middle. It would be difficult to use this in a daily scripture study, but I will be able to use it I'm in smaller circumstances where I read and find that you use chain of fools are apparent. Part B the directed study is that we did was option for and they covered Alma 38 verses one through four we listed chevrons behavior and contrast of that in Alma 39 verses one through five contrasting with Corey Anton's behavior Personal study with work. Inter report. As I focus on the Scriptures I noticing that there are many different types of literary styles used in the scriptures. I haven't noticed this before because I either haven't heard of these styles or I have not learned them well enough to remember them. which digging deeper video have the most impact on me this week. Inter Elmo 36 the entire chapter is a large jasmine starting with one with son and commandments there's two with bondage versus 3 supported vs 5 born of God vs 17 memory of sinners than the older than reversed first 19 remembered things no more verse 26 born and God verse 27 supported verse 28 and 29 bondage vs 30 commandments and son. A specific insight that I learned was about the chiasmus it self which i hadnt known about before. Inter This is a particular grammatical and literary device which is scriptural and poetic in nature. The fact that it is found in the book of Mormon is reaffirming to its scripturalness. Math Learning report What did you enjoy most about this lesson? I really can't say that I particularly enjoyed this lesson from in enjoyable standpoint. That being said it was not disagreeable nor unenjoyable, I was more somewhere in the middle. The beginning portions of math are fairly simple so it was not a challenge. That being said, I did learn some shortcuts and tips and tricks that they had not earlier thought of, which will be helpful in the future. nter if you met your goal this week what have you learn from working on your goal? If you did not meet your goal what do you think you need to do differently to reach this week's goal? Dad I am working on my goal this week, I am finding that my goal is attainable. I'm also finding that it is difficult more difficult than I anticipated to keep on track with the additional workload of school work and calling etc for some reason that this semester theme song much more busy than the last semester but I'm continuing to work on my goal and making progress which is the point.
