Lesson 9 gathering Cause and Effect Oh be wise, what can I say more? Jacob 6:12 O be wise; what can I say more? Option 1 The presented study skill this week was the skill of cause and effect. I think I can use this skill in my studies as I read that I will be able to look for future events and see the outcome outcomes peoples actions in the scriptures. Also be able to see how and why the Lord works in days some of the things that he does in the scriptures. We chose option 1, and read eunice chapter 1. We came up with the answers to the questions off what did penis find in his prayer that was the blessings for those who keep the commandments 1 was it that they would have a rest the second was that they would have your mortality the third was that they would be able to see the face of the lord and the fourth was that they would hurt a place prepared for them. 9045010 Lesson 9 application activity. Enter On the side of our house there was a cinder block wall about 5 feet inside of our property line v wall was put there with a smaller garden wall out of the property line, this was probably to save money by not having to build a nine foot tall wall. 2008 football with a 3 foot garden wall at the property line, but this also meant that there was 5 feet of my property that was unusable. so family and I decided to extend the wall house hand we built a wooden fence on top of the 3 foot garden wall. the problem that left us was that we had now a five foot section that need to be filled up with third. over the course of a few days and a few hundred we are wheelbarrows full of dirt we filled in this area and compact it by hand. that was about 10 years ago and the reward for the kids working and doing all this labor was that we would able to be have a pool put up because now there was enough room for it. My children learned not all of the blessings of work because I got a good reward at the end, but they also learned some skills in construction, and just a work ethic to be able to work for something that they wanted. We look back at those times now with some fondness because we all work together on this project. GS 120 learning report Working towards my goal from last week was keeping track of my expenses. One thing that I realized is that I don't spend a lot of money on things. I only had two days where I bought something. Most of my bills are paid online at the end of the month so that didn't come up this last week and I as long as I had a credit on my bills I don't worry about them. But I realize that I spend very little and it's mostly on foid. Question 3 the most important thing that I did today was to help my father in law with some house repairs at his house. He is older now and can still do some of these things but has gotten to the point where it is too difficult to keep up with the house. I replaced some shower fixtures light bulbs, took his lawn mower to the repair shop, and brought them dinner. I know its service and I know it's reportable as investing my time wisely, but I don't consider it service when it's something that needs to be done. I know it still service but it just doesn't feel like service. Question for. The most important thing that I want to learn from this lesson is to continue to work towards self reliance not just in financial ways but in all of the ways that I need to. I need to work hat continuing toward financial supper Lions, but also what part of the goals of being the supplement another areas. We have our food storage which i think is more than complete. and spiritual self reliance is something that were continuing working on. Education and education itself is a goal that I'm currently working on. Blog post for putting it all together asking religion 121
